Joe is still struggling with the loss of Mercedez. That was VERY apparent when Venus/Honey was here. He did say he's open to the idea of fostering but needs a little more time to grieve. I'm just glad that his response is not "Absolutely not!" anymore. Last night he said a night or two for a playdate with Charlie or maybe a foster in about a month or two was fine, but Mercedez was a very special little girl and it would take a very special dog for him to let one be a permanent addition to our little family.
