Forums are EXCELLENT communication devices on the web!
By using a forum type setting, we can maintain an organizational structure with topics of discussion as well as get to know one another and elaborate on thoughts and ideas in a GROUP setting that is convenient for everyone! We don't have to worry about meeting at a specific location at a specific time that may or may not be convenient for us.
